Watch: Man charged with DUI after crashing into Crestview Church, injuring three

Crestview, Florida (WKRGMore) — Crestview Police have charged a man with DUI after he reportedly crashed his car into a church early Saturday morning.

Crestview Police said they received a call at 12:14 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, of a vehicle crash at the intersection of James Lee Boulevard and North Fardon Boulevard. Officers retrieved video from the red light camera to see what led to the crash. In the video, a car speeds through an intersection, causing the driver to lose control and crash into the front of the First Presbyterian Church in Crestview.

First responders were able to rescue four people from the vehicle. Three passengers were taken to hospital with serious injuries, but the driver refused treatment.

Police said 38-year-old Paul B. Carroll was the driver of the vehicle. He was arrested and charged with causing serious injury while driving while intoxicated.
