Vodafone Business Leads IoT Roaming Vendors

The research giant evaluates vendors based on several key metrics such as capacity and capabilities, solution positioning, operational scale, financial performance, and product sophistication.

Juniper’s top six IoT roaming vendors are:

  1. Vodafone business
  2. Tata Communications
  3. TNS
  4. BICS
  5. Syniverse
  6. iBasis

“Our IoT platform, which provides managed IoT connectivity, device management and application development, enables roaming partners to actively participate in and monetize global opportunities for IoT connectivity.”

Juniper was impressed with Vodafone Business’s scalable IoT products that support device management, low power wide access (LPWA) network services, and mobile private networks.

Vodafone Business was also honored in the “Application as a Service” model, which Juniper believes to promote the adoption of IoT roaming services among SMEs by lowering barriers to entry.

By 2027, Juniper predicts that global IoT roaming connectivity will grow from 300 million in 2022 to 1.8 billion, which is equivalent to 500% growth.
