Video: Rain pours down southern Mississippi as flash flood warning is issued

(WKRGMore) — Heavy rain fell in parts of southern Mississippi on Friday amid multiple flash flood warnings in place for the region, according to the National Weather Service.
The footage was captured by Steen Busby, who said he shot it at Nicholson on Friday morning.
The NWS warned that rainfall and thunderstorms could cause flooding in the area until Friday afternoon.

The main threats of these storms are isolated and damaging winds and flash floods, but short-lived tornadoes cannot be ruled out. The storm has already affected News 5, it’s Friday morning and will continue into the evening.
