Tuscaloosa’s mother mourns the death of her 18-month-old daughter

Tuscaloosa, Alabama (WIAT) — Tyquisha Richardson mourns the death of his 18-month-old daughter Raylean, who died at Hay Court Apartments in Tuscaloosa on Friday.

Richardson lived in a complex with her boyfriend, 28-year-old Joseph Jenkins, Arrested in connection with the case and charged with murder.

The infant was reportedly not breathing and was taken to the DCH Regional Medical Center. The child regained breathing and pulse shortly after arrival, officials said, but eventually died despite life-saving efforts.

Autopsy revealed that the baby died of extensive trauma resulting from physical abuse.

Richardson says her daughter was an angel.

“Everyone loved Rayleen. She had the biggest smile and was easy to play. You enjoyed her company, she laughed a lot, and she liked to eat, she Will say, “I’m hungry and feed me,” Richardson said. “She was my baby in the sun.”

Tikisha Richardson says her daughter’s death is devastating, but she puts the tragedy in the hands of God.

Richardson and her family have opened a GoFundMe account and raised over $ 10,000 for funeral expenses.
