Tommy Tuberville’s brother distances himself from Alabama Senator’s controversial comments

“I’ll try to explain this briefly,” Charles Tuberville said in a post. “As some of you know, my brother Tommy Tuberville is a senior U.S. Senator from Alabama who will be elected in 2021.

“His recent remarks promoting racial stereotypes, white nationalism, and a variety of other controversial topics have compelled me to distance myself from his ignorant and hateful rants. What I mean is that I cannot agree with the despicable rhetoric that comes out of his mouth.”
