Analyst from GlobalData Revealed the progress they believe in empowering the Metaverse and encouraging recruitment.
“Latency is a key obstacle to adopting the Metaverse. Some companies are trying to address this issue from different angles, following their technical or business insights,” GlobalData’s disruptive technology. Kiran Raj, who is responsible for the practice of
“Potential solutions can be seen in terms of network protocols, software applications, or hardware such as chips and AR and VR devices.”
Some of the potential solutions Syntropy It is called DARP (Distributed Autonomous Routing Protocol). DARP can connect data centers around the world, detect performance issues and instantly switch to higher performance channels.
According to GlobalData, new protocols like DARP will help reduce network latency and support Metaverse and Web3.0 applications through distributed properties.
Another delay buster on the GlobalData list is Wi-Fi 7. According to GlobalData, advanced multi-link operation (MLO) allows Wi-Fi 7 devices to aggregate channels, switch channels quickly, and maintain performance in dense, congested networks.
Abhishek Paul Choudhury, Senior Disruptive Tech Analyst at Global Data, said:
“Distributed routing protocols and technological advances such as Wi-Fi 7, blockchain, and edge computing have increased throughput and reduced latency compared to existing network capabilities.”
On the application side, GlobalData refers to a SaaS-based conferencing app created by a Swiss startup. TYXIT.. The patented technology of this app supports latency of less than 30ms. This is similar to playing in the same room. This enables real-time sound transfer for immersive experiences such as concerts in the Metaverse.
Finally, an immersive experience requires state-of-the-art peripherals.
Collaboration with wearable computing giants Vuzix And mobile operators Verizon The former believes it utilizes the latter 5G and edge computing technologies. The combination of technologies makes Vuzix smart glasses run longer, increase computing power, and improve response time.
“The purpose of the Metaverse is social technology, so everyone, or at least a large number of individuals, will participate. As more people participate, the number of syncs will increase with the load on the network,” Choudhury said. Adds.
“Development of new technologies can play a vital role in minimizing latency and for the success of the Metaverse.”
