Rohde & Schwarz announce UK dates for Demystifying EMC Global Tour

The popular Demystifying EMC event brings together industry professionals and offers hands-on demonstrations, networking opportunities, and discussion of the latest trends and technologies. The 2023 event will take place in person and in the UK he will have his two dates announced in Reading and Leeds in April.

Rohde & Schwarz have announced the UK dates and venues for their in-person Demystifying Electro Magnetic Compatibility global tour. His two events in the UK will be in Reading on 25 April and in Leeds on 27 April.

A mix of expert presentations, hands-on demonstrations and lively discussion, the seminar gets to the heart of current EMC issues. James MacAlonan, his EMC expert at Rohde & Schwarz, and well-known industry expert, Lee Hill of Silent Solutions LLC, joined us on stage to provide insightful insights, covering many of his EMC topics and techniques. He holds a full day of educational sessions.

The first session with James MacAlonan is “The Meaning of Time”, which delves into how spectrum analyzers and receivers make measurements and how dwell/sweep times affect what they tell you. A second presentation will explore the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) in detail. How it differs from traditional measurement methods and how it can be implemented in today’s test equipment.

The program will also feature a two-part presentation by Lee Hill. The title is “Getting Good with Ground”. Lee demonstrates and presents an intuitive method for understanding grounding in electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and electronic enclosure installations, explaining the function and impact of grounding on regulatory (EMC) and functional noise issues. focus.

Each event concludes with a Q&A session from the audience.
