Robotos NFT debuts on children’s television, artist Pablo Stanley tweets snaps

Times Studio, Times magazine’s visual content production division, is creating a new children’s television show featuring the popular NFT collection “Robotos.” Created by artist Pablo Stanley, Robotos is a set of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) consisting of 10,000 droids over 170 characters. NFTs are digital collectibles that can be purchased using fiat and cryptocurrencies. Stanley said he has always dreamed of bringing the character to life and creating a universe around it. This is one of the first projects to create a TV show using NFT’s native IP.

“Robotos is a collection of droid characters designed by Pablo Stanley and created as an NFT. They come in a variety of metal outfits, tin faces, digital accessories, top pieces, faces, backpacks, arms and colors. It’s configured, “the official Robotos website describes the project.

The Hollywood Reporter said TV content creators at Times Studios believe that the opportunity to work with NFT creators is untapped. Therefore, they decided to explore the possibility of transforming NFTs into television characters and chose Stanley’s droid work.

“There are a lot of incredible IPs being developed within the NFT space. As the ecosystem evolves and continues to achieve mainstream adoption, we provide a platform for these creators, including movies and broadcasts. We are proud of the role Time can play by providing access to alternative media for Time, “said Keith Grossman, President of Time.

Animated GIFs, PNGs, and SVG files without resolution are provided to buyers as NFTs. According to the information provided on the official Robotos page, the price of each NFT is about 0.7 Ether or $ 3,054 (about Rs. 2.2lakh).

NFT artists who are talking about on social media have posted pictures of what they look like on Twitter.

So far, elements inspired by movie, television and music content have been recreated in NFTs, and this project will change the table.

On behalf of the broader artist community, Stanley said the NFT space has changed the lives of artists.

“I am grateful to the NFT space for supporting artists like me and making a huge impact on the lives of creators. NFT combines art, community and technology to create something unique and innovative: storytelling. It’s creating a future for telling and building the world. I can’t wait to tell the story of a new character and bring Robotos and the NFT community, “the NFT artist said in a statement.

In the third quarter of 2021, NFT sales surged to $ 10.7 billion, more than eight times the previous quarter, according to data from market tracker DappRadar.

OpenSea, the largest NFT market, sold $ 3.4 billion in August and remained strong in September, when the global stock market was sluggish.
