Pensacola, Florida (WKRGMore) — The Pensacola Interstate Fair runs through October 30th. The crew works year-round to ensure that the whole family can enjoy the community.
“There are about four or five of us prepping all year long, booking all the spots to make sure we have an annual event for the community and everyone can participate. Dondi Frenkel of Pensacola Interstate Fair said:
The Interstate Fair has brought back all the classic fairs like funnel cakes, rides, and games, but added a few new ones this year. Puppy Pals will perform a new performance this year. You can watch the adorable puppies perform tricks and run the optical course.
“Audiences can expect some quirky, unconventional comedy, especially when dogs are involved,” said Puppypal host Renaldo Carinez.
The fair will be digital again this year. Attendees can purchase admission tickets at the main entrance and reload their trade fair cards at kiosks located around the fair grounds.
The fair will also feature live performances from the Beach Boys, Foreigner and a tribute van playing Sticks favorites. On the 29th, the popular country group Parmalee will appear as the headliner. Admission to all shows is free.
State Fair attendees work to bring excitement to their communities each year.
“When you look at the impact, you have young children coming out, eyes so big, lights everywhere, food and so much to do, that makes everything challenging,” Frenkel said. Said.
Staff expect over 200,000 people to attend the Interstate Fair.
