Omron expands European distribution network with partnership with Conrad Electronic

Omron Electronic Components Europe today announced that it has entered into a pan-European distribution agreement with Conrad Electronic, a German-based technical supply sourcing platform with operations in 17 European countries.

Under the new deal, Conrad will supply Omron’s popular devices to business customers across Europe. OMRON provides customers with component solutions that contribute to the spread of new sustainable forms of energy and high-speed communications. These include not only the high-performance, high-quality relays and switches for which the sector is renowned, but also innovative environmental sensors that enable electronic systems to respond appropriately to the conditions in which they operate. Conrad’s sourcing platform will initially display over 4,900 of these Omron products. The two companies plan to expand the range of products accessible through the platform as OMRON introduces new related solutions.

Gabor Matrai, Omron’s European Distribution Account Manager, commented that the new partnership is to strengthen and improve service to European customers. “Conrad electronic is widely used throughout Europe and especially in Germany by engineers who source devices and components for prototypes and production projects. We are pleased to offer our customers additional options for sourcing.”
