Okaloosa County, Fla. (WKRG) – The name of a local lawmaker killed in the line of duty on Christmas Eve has been added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC. Added the name of Corporal Ray Hamilton. Hamilton was shot dead in late December in response to a domestic violence call. Friends describe him as a dedicated law enforcement officer who was equally devoted to his family and friends.. It is said that he loved his job and did it with a strong sense of humor.
