Murderer inmate flees Staten Correctional Facility

Elmore County, Alabama (WHNT) – Authorities are searching for a man convicted of murder who fled the Staten Correctional Facility Monday morning.
Jordan Andrew Thomas, who is serving a life sentence for a murder in 2012, fled the Staton Correctional Facility around 11 a.m. Monday.
Authorities said Thomas was last seen wearing brown pants and a brown shirt. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds.
Thomas has several tattoos on the front of his neck, including an “I-65” tattoo.
