Military helicopter crashes in northern Alabama, ‘no survivors’

Madison County, Alabama (WHNT) — Several emergency workers respond to a military helicopter crash near Highway 53 and Burwell Road.
HEMSI’s Don Webster confirmed to News 19 that there were no survivors in the crash.
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) officials have confirmed that a military helicopter was involved in the crash. They were unable to divulge any details about the origin of the flight.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon at an intersection. Alabama law enforcement agencies are on the scene to assist.
At this time, Team Redstone does not believe the helicopter will be derived from their property.
