Mi TV 5X Range with Adaptive Brightness, PatchWall 4 Interface Launched in India: Price, Specifications

The Mi TV 5X was launched with the Mi Band 6 at the exclusive Xiaomi Smarter Living 2022 event on Thursday. The new TV series is an upgrade to the Mi TV 4X series announced last year. The Mi TV 5X comes with a 40W speaker that supports Dolby Atmos. It integrates adaptive brightness that adjusts the brightness of the TV according to the light of the house. The Mi TV 5X works with a PatchWall 4 interface and a ranged microphone with easy access to the Google Assistant. To date, Xiaomi has sold 6 million smart TVs, one-third of which are from the 4K smart TV range.

Price and sale of Mi TV 5X in India

The new Mi TV 5X is available for sale at Rs in India. 31,999, Rs for the 43-inch model. 41,999, Rs for the 50-inch model. The 55-inch model is 47,999. Mi TV 5X specifications and functions

The Mi TV 5X features Vivid Picture Engine 2 for better saturation levels and sharper details. It is equipped with a photoelectric sensor that enhances the adaptive brightness function. This feature allows you to understand the brightness of your home environment and adjust the brightness of your TV accordingly. The new Mi TV 5X boasts a 96.6% screen-to-body ratio, a premium metallic bezel, a billion-color view, a 4K resolution display, and a Reality Flow MEMC engine for smoother visuals. It also supports Dolby Vision, Hybrid Log Gamma, HDR10 and HDR10 +. The TV is equipped with 40W stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos. Available in multiple sizes of 43 inches, 50 inches and 55 inches.

As mentioned earlier, the new Mi TV 5X comes with a new generation PatchWall 4 interface based on Android TV 10. It has been redesigned to be lighter, faster and more responsive. Xiaomi has also partnered with IMDb to display content from 30 streaming services along with key entertainment guides and database ratings to help users make more informed choices. A collection of top IMDb titles will also be featured on the PatchWall home page. PatchWall 4 also offers over 75 live channels for free and features a universal search to view content results from across OTT apps. It also has kids mode and safesearch functionality. There is also access to the Play Store, and the Mi TV 5X has Chromecast built-in.

According to Xiaomi, the Mi TV 5X has a long-range microphone to improve the Google Assistant service. The TV supports HDMI 2.1 port and has a built-in automatic low latency mode to enhance the gaming experience. It features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage along with other connectivity options to meet your entertainment needs.
