McIntosh sewer facility destroyed by fire – WKRG News 5

MCINTOSH, Ala. (WKRG) — A fire has destroyed a utility facility in Washington County.Members of the McIntosh Volunteer Fire Department I shared these images on my Facebook page. They were called to the Five Points Sewer District building on Ciba Road just before 4 a.m. Friday morning.

According to social media posts, the district office was completely destroyed. Images show that the fire has consumed much of the building, leaving behind a metal roof and brick walls that have been folded into pieces. Tybee, Wagarville and Fairfield volunteer fire departments responded to the fire, along with Alabama Emergency EMS. The post does not say how the fire started.
