Man found unconscious with drugs in car stolen from Pritchard: Mobile Police

Mobile, Alabama (WKRGMore) — Mobile Police officials said they arrested a man after discovering him unconscious in a car reportedly stolen from Pritchard.

Vernon Collier, 37, was found in a stolen car after police responded to a call about an “unresponsive man in car reportedly stolen from Pritchard.” Police discovered Collier was under the influence of an unknown drug when officers arrived at the location.

Police searched the car and found guns, drugs and drug paraphernalia. After being treated, Collier was taken to a mobile metro prison and charged with receiving stolen goods, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substances, possession of marijuana, no pistol license, and obstruction of justice.

Collier and the car were found at 3:00 a.m. Wednesday at Block 3000 Moffett Road near Interstate 65.
