Making the most of 2023 – WKRG News 5

Mobile, Alabama (WKRG) — Faith Time is our weekly conversation on matters of faith, and this morning Bert Park of Government Street United Methodist Church joins us. I wanted to talk about solutions, but more specifically, I also wanted to talk about how to get a fresh start in life.
Guest: Ah, a spiritual gift. Paul gives us a representative list of his four different lists of spiritual gifts. First Corinthians 12, Romans 12, Ephesians 4, Peter 4 first. We have been given spiritual gifts, individual spiritual gifts. A gift, but the gift itself is from him and will be used in his glory. So you can start walking as a Christian today. No need to wait for the new year. You can begin by identifying and cultivating the spiritual gifts you have been given. Give it a try to those who think I might be a teacher. I think I can become an evangelist. I think I can be a prophet. Ok, but the key is to get that affirmation from the individual and know you’re on the right track.
How can we see such grace that God gives us for such a new start?
Grace is a fairly vague term for Christians. is not? That’s right. If you know what the acronym is, please give me two definitions. Her two definitions of grace worked for me. Grace, the riches of God through the sacrifice of Christ. Then he comes into your life. Grace has another side. God’s reward. Christ enters.
