LG Unveils Thinnest Gram Laptop Ever

LG’s Gram laptop line features being one of the thinnest and lightest laptops of any generation. Now, with the latest Gram release, the company has squeezed the device down to an even thinner size, giving it a new sense of style.
The aptly named LG Gram Ulstraslim is just 10.99 millimeters thick and weighs just 998 grams (the eponymous unit of measure), or about 35.2 ounces. The device is slimmer and lighter. The LG Gram 16 we reviewed earlier this yearstill tipped the scales at a feathery 1.2kg.

Despite being “roughly as thick as a smartphone or notepad,” the unit packs a 15.6-inch OLED display, a 13th Gen Intel Raptor Lake processor, and an ultra-compact power adapter. Onboard memory options range from 8GB to 32GB, and internal storage can be configured for Gen4 NVMe storage from 256GB to 1TB.
Alongside the new King of Thin, LG has also unveiled two sizes of the new LG Gram Style. An elegant glass design that moves and changes”. This focus on aesthetics extends to the new ‘hidden’ touchpad with ‘soft LED backlighting’ that ‘illuminates with the user’s touch’.

Those who value function over form will want to know that the LG Gram Style also features a 13th Gen Intel CPU and the same memory and storage options as the Ultraslim. However, matching it with extra style adds some mass. The 16-inch model is 15.9 mm thick and weighs 1.23 kg, while the smaller 14-inch unit is the same thickness but weighs just 999 g.
In addition to the two completely new models, LG has also updated its LG Gram 2-in-1 lineup, using the same list of available internal components included in the Ultraslim and Style models. The convertible laptop pair comes in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes and is compatible with the LG Stylus Pen.
