Lenovo GM post from Motorola Edge X30 with Snapdragon 8 Gen1

Since the beginning of this month, there have been rumors that Motorola was one of the first smartphone OEMs to launch a device with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Snapdragon 8 Gx Gen 1. Recent rumors suggest that the company may even launch a flagship. Xiaomi has become the first company to use Qualcomm’s next flagship chipset. The new device will feature the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra around the world, but in China it’s called the Moto Edge X30. We still don’t know when the device will arrive, but today we have confirmed that the device is at least functioning.

Lenovo’s Chinese general manager took him to Weibo to reveal that he was already using Motorola’s next flagship. His post was a vague teaser, but it’s easy to imagine that he’s talking about (and using) the next Moto Edge X30. Weibo, a social media platform in China, is well known for referencing the devices users are using. In this case, Lenovo Manager is using MotoEdge X30. We all know that it is the company’s next flagship.

Tow dual gorilla glass finish and Snapdragon 8 Gen1

For the vague teaser, the general manager mentioned two panes of gorilla glass. This means a display covered with Corning’s protective coating, and the glass finish on the back has the same protection. He also makes fun of the cool “powerful inner core”. According to Leak, this powerful inner core is Qualcomm’s upcoming 4nm chipset. Rumor has it that it will be powered by a 1x ARM Cortex-X2 running up to 3.0GHz and will significantly upgrade the vanilla Snapdragon 888.

Moto Edge X30 – Motorola Edge 30 / Ultra Suspicious Specifications

In addition to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the new handset also has other interesting specifications. For example, you have a 6.67-inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Again, Motorola maintains a refresh rate of 144Hz, which isn’t common on “traditional” smartphones outside the game. The device is equipped with a triple camera array of 50 MP + 50 MP + 2 MP. The light is maintained by a 5,000mAh battery with a 68W fast charge. 68 W charging is the fastest standard I’ve ever seen on a Motorola device.

According to recent reports, the X30 can also be a vanilla Motorola Edge 30. Then the Ultra name comes with another model. This is because Motorola and Xiaomi are preparing for the introduction of 200MP smartphones. The Ultra is the best model in the series and shipping this camera is a great opportunity for Moto. So far, everything is open for confirmation. Lenovo GM post from Motorola Edge X30 with Snapdragon 8 Gen1
