Instagram’s “practice mode” allows users to see if they’re ready for livestreaming

Instagram is adding two new extensions to its livestreaming toolset. Starting today, creators can schedule live broadcasts up to 90 days in advance and share that fact in both posts and stories. Viewers can use them to set reminders for themselves so they don’t miss a broadcast.

Instagram will soon roll out a “practice mode”. With this tool, creators can connect with guests before they start broadcasting to see audio levels, lighting, and content they plan to cover.

New features During April. If you’re just watching a live session, live scheduling and practice modes won’t dramatically change your experience, but they can help you organize your favorite creators better.
