Once the installation is complete, you can start using Nextcloud.

However, I would recommend at least Configure email server settings, so you can share files and work together. To configure your email server, you first need an SMTP server. Google SMTP server is always available. The required settings are:

  • SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
  • Port: 465
  • From email address: Your Gmail address
  • Password: Gmail password (app password if Gmail uses two-factor authentication)

To configure your SMTP server, click on your Nextcloud profile icon in the top right of the window and select[管理設定]Click.in the left sidebar[基本設定]and in the window that appears, click[電子メール サーバー]Scroll down until you see the section. Enter the options as described above and click Save. After completing this process, click Send Email to make sure everything is working.
