Home Depot shooting suspect’s mother worked with victim to drive her to work: ECSO

Pensacola, Florida (WKRGMore) — More details were released last Friday about the shooting at a home improvement store in Pensacola that claimed the life of 18-year-old Brooklyn Sims.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that alleged killer Keith Agee’s mother, Sheila Agee, and victim Brooklyn Sims were working together at a home improvement store along the Davis Highway, and that day Agee drove Sims to her car. He said he was sent to work.

At one point, Sheila Agey texted him, “Kill me if you don’t come (expletive),” according to the sheriff’s office.

On Monday night, friends and family hosted a balloon release in Mobile County in honor of the Brooklyn Sims. Sheila Age attended the event.
Sheila Agee was arrested in Washington County, Alabama, but will be transferred to Escambia County. Agee has been charged with first-degree murder.
