Alphabet’s Google is migrating from Qualcomm’s technology, which has been powering search giant Android devices for over 15 years, using a processor designed in-house for Pixel smartphones to be launched later this fall.
According to Google, a processor called Tensor powers Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones. Blog post, We will disclose details close to the release.
This is an overview of the latest Google Phones with Google Tensor. This is a brand new chip designed by Google and custom made for Pixel.

“We will continue to work closely with Google on existing and future products based on the Snapdragon platform,” a Qualcomm spokeswoman said in a statement.
