Globe Wins ASEAN Tech for ESG Awards in 2022

Globe’s various ESG programs have achieved several milestones since their inception and initial deployment. The keys are:

  • As of 2021, the company has successfully migrated 14 high-energy facilities to 100% renewable energy, deploying more than 8,500 green solutions throughout its network.
  • At the same time, Globe, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture’s National Institute of Fisheries Research and Development (DA-NFRDI), piloted the ISDApp platform as of 2021 and deployed it to 600 fishermen in Quezon and Aurora. ..
  • In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the company has successfully deployed a desktop publishing program (DTP) at 4,050 schools, providing valuable knowledge to 175,000 teachers and 1.9 million students nationwide.
  • Globe Rewards have played an integral role in providing the coveted support in the midst of a pandemic crisis. In 2020, 10 hospitals raised 36 million pesos and in 2021 7.8 million pesos for COVID advocates. The platform is available to customers all year round to support the community, including relief efforts for Typhoon Odette in December.
