Family Offers Reward for Search of Saraland Man Missing for Over a Year – WKRG News 5

Saraland, Alabama (WKRG) — Family and friends continue to search for the missing man from Saraland, who has been missing for over a year. They hope the new rewards will help solve the James Bernard White case.

On Saturday, people fanned out from an old retail store along Highway 43, hoping to find any trace of him. White was last seen over a year ago when he moved out of the Saraland apartment complex he lived in in March 2022. He left on foot and has not been heard from since. Family members say they have been plagued with no new information about his whereabouts since he disappeared more than a year ago.

“The worst nightmare you can imagine because you love someone and you don’t know where they are, if they’re okay, if they’re alive or dead, how it happened, if they’re suffering, if they’re alive, who knows, it was just awful.” Anyone who knows anything about what happened to Nerd White is asked to contact the Saraland Police Department.

They hope the new rewards will help generate clues to solve this mystery. The family has offered a $2,000 reward for information leading to White’s discovery.

Saraland Police Inspector James Morton said in an email to News5 that he conducted a ground search, building search, wooded area, residential and commercial property search of the surrounding area last year and continued to receive information and leads, but so far the case has not been resolved. Call the Saraland Police at (251) 675-5331.
