Donating Body Armor to Moss Point K9 in Honor of Murdered K9 – WKRG News 5

MOSS POINT, Miss (WKRG) — Moss Point K9 officers are a little safer thanks to a donation from a non-profit organization. According to a Facebook post K9 Officer Buddy recently received a body armor donation from a group called Vested Interests.
The body armor is also embroidered with the words “In memory of K9 Exo”. Exo is his K9 of the Pascagoula Police Department and was killed in the line of duty earlier this year. Exo shot dead by suspect his injury in late June.
According to Moss Point Police, the K9 Buddy vest was sponsored by Brian and Lisa King of Columbia, Connecticut. “Vested Interest in K9s” is a non-profit organization that provides body armor for his K9s in police forces across the country.
