Cobham Mission Systems Purchases Hentec / RPS Photon Team Aging System

Hentec Industries / RPS Automation, a leading manufacturer of selective soldering, lead tin plating and solderability testing equipment, has announced that Cobham Mission Systems has purchased the Photon vapor aging system. Photon steam aging systems are used for accelerated life testing to simulate long-term storage conditions in highly reliable applications. These steam aging systems are specially compliant with all relevant GEIA-STD-0006, MIL- to perform component retinning, tin whiskers mitigation, gold removal and BGA deballing. Complements the designed Odyssey component lead tin plating machine. PRF-38535, MIL-PRF-38524E and ANSI-J-STD-002 standards.
