Mobile, Alabama (WKRG) — Medical marijuana dispensaries could come to Mobile. This week, a member of the city’s Public Service Commission will discuss how clinics in the city will be regulated.
Many cities in Baldwin County have already passed resolutions supporting medical clinics, so the largest metropolitan area in this part of the state will take up the issue today. The Public Service Commission will meet at 2:00 pm on Monday. According to the news releasethey will discuss the future of local medical marijuana dispensaries.
“Before any decisions are made, our commission wants to understand how the establishment and distribution of controlled substances will be handled and enforced,” said the public service commission chairman.
