Cars flood Daphne Shopping Center – WKRG News 5

DAPHNE, Alabama-(WKRG) A couple captured a dramatic image of a flash flood in a parking lot at Jubilee Square in Daphne on Thursday afternoon.

“I was driving and it started to rain so hard I couldn’t see anything. I didn’t know, so it really freaked me out. She and her husband, Joshua, noticed water rapidly approaching the top of the tires of a vehicle parked in front of Dick’s Sports Goods.

“A terrible flood started. I opened the door and it was all the way to my front door and I was about to walk in,” Adleride said.
