CAPTURED ON CAMERA: The Florida Highway Patrol investigates Thursday’s hit-and-run accident at Escambia.

Escambia County, Florida (WKRGMore) — The Florida Highway Patrol said it was investigating a hit-and-run accident with injuries on North Pace Boulevard and West Brant Street on Thursday.

FHP said the suspect’s car was “probably” a green older model Mitsubishi Galant with a damaged front end. The hit-and-run happened around 4:30 pm on May 4th.

FHP shared surveillance footage of the crash along with the release. At around 7 seconds into the video, a speeding car enters the frame from the left. A car crashes into another car. A pedestrian is at the corner of an intersection and barely hits a car or debris.
