HP’s U32 isn’t as big or feature-packed as some of its more expensive widescreen rivals, but it handles all the basics well and offers an attractive 4K display suitable for a wide range of tasks. The IPS display offers a full 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160, produces bright and colorful images with HDR400, and features a blue light filter to reduce eye strain while working.

The U32’s screen is actually 31.5 inches in size, but there’s still plenty of room for multiple documents and windows on the screen, as well as detailed photo and video editing. It also supports 99% of the sRGB color standard and 98% of the DCI-P3 standard used for video editing, making it suitable for designers, bloggers and other content creators. And unlike its larger competitors, the U32 also lets you rotate the screen to switch between horizontal (landscape) and upright (portrait) modes, depending on the type of work you’re doing.

It also has a good connection with the USB-C port, which allows you to connect your PC and charge your laptop at the same time. You can also take advantage of the display’s built-in USB hub, which provides three USB-A ports for keyboards, mice, and other office accessories. If your PC doesn’t have USB-C, the U32 also offers HDMI and DisplayPort connectors, but these won’t let you use your display’s USB ports.
