Baldwin County crash kills three, man charged with manslaughter

Baldwin County, Alabama (WKRGMore) — the man was arrested Three killed in crash on Sunday.

David Colburn, 60, was charged with DUI and three counts of manslaughter. A Robertsdale Police Department official said Colburn drove the Baldwin Beach Express southward in a black Trailblazer when he rear-ended a black pickup truck. Police said this caused the truck to cross the median into the northbound lane and hit the white GMC Yukon.

There were five people in the truck at the time of the accident, two adults and three children. A man and a woman were on board the Yukon. A woman in the Yukon Territory and a pickup truck driver were seriously injured in the accident. Two children in the pickup were also injured. Three people died in the accident.

Colburn was given $50,000 bail for each manslaughter charge and $10,000 bail for his DUI charge.
