Apple’s new program offers developers one-on-one support from in-house experts

Apple is stepping up developer outreach with a new series of interactive Q&A and 1:1 sessions with in-house Apple experts.new ask apple The program kicks off with a series of sessions from October 17-21.

The program allows developers to connect with Apple evangelists, engineers, and designers during one-on-one office hours or text-based Q&A sessions on Slack. Q&A sessions allow developers to ask questions and share their insights with other developers. Developers can sign up for her Q&A focused on specific topics such as app services, app stores, accessibility and inclusion, privacy and security, photography and cameras. Q&A is also available in Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.

One-on-one sessions, on the other hand, are 25-minute consultations that help developers build and distribute apps. Developers can seek code-level assistance, design guidance, input on technology and framework implementations, advice on problem solving, or help with app review guidelines and distribution tools. Consultations are hosted in different time zones and languages.

Ask Apple is free and open to members of the Apple Developer Program and Apple Developer Enterprise Program.
