Apple Today’s brand new iPadAnd one of its biggest features is that it comes with an A13 Bionic chip. The new iPad also features a new front 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera that is especially useful for video calls. It has a 122-degree field of view and comes with Center Stage, a technology we’ve already seen on Apple’s iPad Pro. Similar to Facebook’s portal device technology, Center Stage automatically detects people and dynamically adjusts frames as they move or join a call. This technology works in both portrait and landscape modes.

This center stage feature works not only with Facetime, but also with other video apps such as Zoom, Bluejeans, and WebEx. Moreover, this technology is not just for video calls. Users can also use this technology to record, stream and publish videos to apps such as DoubleTake, Explain Everything and TikTok.

Elsewhere, the new iPad has a 10.2-inch Retina display with True Tone that adjusts screen content to the ambient color temperature. Supports existing accessories such as Apple’s smart keyboard and first-generation Apple Pencil.

The latest iPad ships with the iPad OS 15. It has more intuitive multitasking capabilities, thanks to split view and slideover capabilities, a new widget layout on the home screen, and system-wide notes. Other iPad OS 15 features include a translation app, live text that recognizes text in photos, and focus that allows users to exclude notifications. iPadOS 15 will be available from September 20th. It will be available on iPad mini 4 and above, iPad Air 2 and above, iPad 5th generation and above, and all iPad Pros.

Apple’s new iPad starts at $ 329 with 64GB and has a silver and space gray finish. WiFi + Cellular models start at $ 459. There is also a 256GB option. Available from September 24th.
