Apple AirPower charger seems to be still working

Apple hasn’t given up AirPower According to a new report, the concept of wireless charging.

Bloomberg Mark Gurman Apple claims that it is still working on a concept similar to the original AirPower charger that could have been able to charge multiple Apple devices wirelessly at once.

The original AirPower was announced in 2017 and promised to integrate Apple’s wirelessly rechargeable smart gizmo into one comprehensive mat. The idea was that the iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch could be placed in one sophisticated charger in any configuration.

However, Apple quickly had a problem with the concept and was unable to meet its 2018 release target. In 2019, the company admitted defeat, Officially canceled AirPower.

NS Alleged disassembly An example of a possible prototype version of AirPower seemed to show a very complex internal design consisting of a total of 14 wireless charging coils.

However, since the product was canceled, I’ve heard some reports claiming that the AirPower concept isn’t completely dead within Apple HQ.Earlier last year, it was reported that Apple had it. Work resumed To that ambitious wireless charger.

This latest report seems to suggest that those reports are costly.

It will be interesting to see how the final AirPower-like design changes from the original flat pad concept. Apple then reintroduced MagSafe as a magnetic charging system. MagSafe‌Duo is already covering the same part of the ground as AirPower with two devices instead of three.

Interestingly, this latest report also suggests that Apple is considering a new wireless charging solution that is completely independent of physical contact. He also claims that Apple is looking to a future where all Apple devices can charge each other wirelessly.
