Digitally connected automation equipment enables comprehensive building management, from heating and ventilation to air conditioning and occupant comfort. The new ADIN2111 adds long reach Ethernet connectivity to controllers, sensors, and actuators to provide insights for more efficient and sustainable building management. Ideal for use with small, power-constrained edge devices, the ADIN2111 saves up to 50% on power consumption and up to 75% on PCBs compared to discrete implementations.

The ADIN2111 is designed to daisy-chain data over line and ring networks, leveraging the existing single twisted pair cable infrastructure deployed within the building, reducing remodeling costs. Enhanced diagnostics provide test run, installation, and system downtime by quickly and effectively leveraging real-time information about link quality and fault location to troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively. Reduce Compliant with the IEEE 802.3cg standard, this solution enables Ethernet connectivity over 1.7 km cables, supports ring redundancy and soft real-time protocols such as Modbus / TCP, BACnet / IP, and KNX.
