Alabama House Democrats Elect New Leader, Daniels Re-Elected as Leader

MONTGOMERY, Alabama (WHNT) — The leadership team of Alabama’s House Democratic Caucus will be mostly new for the 2023-24 session.
Rep. Anthony Daniels (D-Huntsville) was re-elected as House Minority Leader, but the women in second and third place are all new.
Mobile Area Rep. Barbara Drummond was elected caucus speaker and Rep. Mary Moore (Birmingham Democrat) was elected caucus vice-chair. Rep. Kelvin Lawrence (D-Hayneville) was elected Caucus Secretary and Treasurer.
