A man set fire to a fire station in Walmart, Louisiana, asking for help identifying a suspect.

Tanguipahoa Parish, LouisianaKLFY) – The Hammond Fire Department, along with the State Fire Marshal’s Office, are seeking public help to identify the man accused of setting fire inside a Hammond Walmart.

At approximately 6:00 p.m. Saturday, December 24, the Hammond Fire Department responded to a call to a fire inside a Walmart store at Block 2700 W. Thomas Street.

The fire went out in the store’s paint aisle as employees and customers used fire extinguishers to put it out.

No injuries were reported despite at least 500 people inside the Walmart.

The unidentified man was wearing a dark gray or black hoodie sweatshirt, light colored pants, khaki shoes, and a black beanie. He was last seen exiting the parking lot in a dark Ford F-150.
