1 killed, 1 injured in Atmore shooting: police

Atmore, Alabama (WKRGMore) — Atmore Police are working to investigate the murders following Monday morning’s shooting, which left one person dead and another wounded, the department said in a statement.

Atmore Police said they found two people shot on Carver Avenue and King Street.

Two victims were taken to hospital, one dead and the other in critical condition. The victim’s name has not been released.

A motive is under investigation and Atmore Police are contacting the family. Anyone with information should contact the Atmore Police Department or local law enforcement.
